On Saturday, November 2, fishermen working the waters off Monmouth County, New Jersey, might need seen that the crews chasing the striper blitzes skewed a little bit youthful than ordinary. On that morning, the 70 individuals of the primary annual Youngsters Striper Traditional, offered by Tak Waterman and Sandy Hook Bay Marina, set out looking for striped bass and located the true prize of our fisheries right here within the Northeast: the neighborhood.

Captain Robbie Radlof, the organizer of the occasion, is a lifelong angler who started fishing the waters of Raritan Bay and northern New Jersey together with his father, George, and now together with his two sons, Charlie and Finn. The household’s generational love of fishing is proof that early and optimistic introductions to the game can result in a life’s value of recollections of time spent on the water with household and buddies.
