Immediately’s John Prescott Memorial match was held on the River Barrow at Carlow with 35 anglers pulling from the draw bag.
It was a match on a really clear and sluggish river and it turned out fish have been held up in pockets on the river.
I battled with Gary Doyle on the subsequent peg for the primary 2 hours going fish for fish till all of a sudden I couldn’t get one other chew and it stayed like that with the final 3 hours solely produced an odd fish for me and Gary stayed catching till the top.
