The Castlebar Anglers Affiliation held the annual finish of season competitors “The Jackson Cup” on Sunday 22nd September.  Twenty anglers partook, going out from Gillaroo Bay on Sunday morning. 4 anglers confirmed a return of six trout above the measure. First place went to Peter Corcoran with Matt Higgins coming in second and Hughie Mc Donnell taking third place.
