MANILA, Philippines — Former lawmaker Trisha Bonoan-David seeks to embody a Bible verse as a tenet in her management if she wins as consultant of the Metropolis of Manila’s 4th district within the 2025 nationwide and native elections.
She filed her certificates of candidacy on Saturday and is working as an impartial candidate.

“I’m working due to a Bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11, could plano ang Diyos para sa ating lahat,” she advised reporters in an interview.

“Ang plano niya ang magkaroon tayo ng maunlad na pamumuhay at ayaw niya tayong mahirapan at nagugutom. At sinabi Niya…nais Niya…na tayo ay magkaroon ng pag-asa—punong-puno ng pag-asa—at darating din ang magandang kinabukasan,” she mentioned.

Bonoan-David additional mentioned her “mission” is to stay by what the Bible verse mentioned by her time period.

“Ang misyon ko ay magbigay ng katotohanan dito sa Bible verse na ito na totoo…totoo na could plano ang Diyos, pero ang plano na ‘yun, mayroong funds, mayroong pondo,” she mentioned, referring to congressional funds.
