IFSA held the primary leg of the All Eire Juvenile Boat Competitors qualifiers on Saturday in Crosshaven, Co. Cork. The climate was good and two native boats have been chartered for the occasion, Osprey skippered by Pat Condon and Lagosta skippered by Alan Kennedy.
Fifteen younger boat anglers took half and a complete of 394 fish have been captured and launched. The species caught included dogfish, gurnard, rays, dabs and whiting.
The highest anglers on the day have been

- Sarah Lynch, Crosshaven SAC
- Adam O’Neill, Rinnashark SAC
The three anglers weill now go ahead to symbolize Eire on the World youths boat championships in Montenegro in 2025.
The remainder of the group will come from the second qualifier which is on in Lough Swilly on August third.
The underneath 16 part was received by Kate Healy O’Connell from Crosshaven SAC with 26 Dogfish and 1 gurnard. Second place went to Jay O’Halloran.
The organizers wish to thank Dan Lynch of Midway Angling Centre for his beneficiant sponsorship of the prizes and bait on the day. In addition they thanksed Crosshaven SAC for using their clubhouse services on the day.
